Tanzania Retreat

10-Day Tanzania Retreat

Awaken to breathtaking mountains, sink into silence, and nourish your body with wholesome food — all in a truly unique setting surrounded by the raw beauty of the African wilderness.

What is it?

She Who Wanders invites you on a 10-day retreat at a small-scale, sustainable solar-powered lodge in Tanzania. Nestled in nature, this is your space to step away from daily routines, find stillness, and recharge your energy.

During this journey, we blend yoga and meditation with adventurous experiences such as nature walks, a safari, creative workshops, and encounters with the local culture. There’s also plenty of time to relax by the pool or simply soak in the serenity of your surroundings.

The group is intentionally kept small (maximum 10 guests), allowing for personal attention and an intimate atmosphere. The program balances shared experiences with moments for self-reflection and rest.

This retreat is for anyone seeking a truly unique experience: a harmonious mix of adventure, relaxation, and authenticity, set against one of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes.

The retreat will take place from Sunday, 1 February 2026, to Tuesday, 10 February 2026.

This period falls within Tanzania’s dry, sunny season, making it perfect for safaris, walks, and outdoor activities. The weather is warm but comfortable, and the landscape is beautifully in bloom.

Can’t make these dates? Get in touch, and we’ll find a suitable alternative together.

Located in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, this retreat blends barefoot luxury with authentic African charm. Far from the tourist paths, you are invited to experience the true Tanzanian culture.

Your well-being is at the heart of this retreat. We support body and mind in balance through a variety of practices, from yoga and meditation to practical lessons on Ayurvedic eating and living. You’ll receive simple, practical tools that you can immediately integrate into your daily life.

Alongside relaxation, there’s room for adventure: walks through African nature, wildlife hikes, and safaris. This is your chance to pause, reconnect with what truly matters to you, recharge your energy, and deepen your self-understanding in a practical and accessible way.
