You’ll stay in comfortable accommodations throughout the journey: spacious rooms with private bathrooms, modern amenities, and peaceful surroundings. In Rishikesh, you’ll spend five nights at an Ayurvedic retreat offering wellness facilities, healthy meals, and relaxation areas. In Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, you’ll stay in well-selected hotels with breakfast included.

Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi

  • Transfer from Delhi Airport to your hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi City Tour

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Guided tour of Old & New Delhi: Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, India Gate, Lotus Temple, and Laxminarayan Mandir.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant, optional metro or rickshaw ride.
  • Dinner and free evening.

Day 3 – Agra

  • Transfer to Agra (approx. 4 hours).
  • Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
  • Optional stop at Sheroes Café.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 – Jaipur via Abhaneri Step Wells

  • Breakfast and departure to Jaipur (approx. 5 hours), with a stop at the Abhaneri Step Wells.

Day 5 – Jaipur City Tour

  • Optional morning yoga or relaxation.

The journey starts in New Delhi, the capital of India, and also ends there.

  • International Airport: Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi – this is where your arrival and departure flights will take place.
  • Transportation during the trip: All transfers between cities and to the retreat in Rishikesh are included, using private cars with a driver.
  • Rishikesh: The Ayurvedic retreat is located in the foothills of the Himalayas, approximately a 5-hour drive from New Delhi.

Tip: If you prefer a domestic flight, you can fly to Dehradun Airport, which is about a 1-hour drive from Rishikesh.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation up to 45 days before departure: 100% refund of the paid amount.
  • Cancellation 30–44 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation within 30 days before departure: no refund.
  • Travel and cancellation insurance: mandatory for participation.

2. Payment

  • A 30% deposit of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure.
  • Late payment may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

3. Changes and Flexibility

  • Changes to booked dates or participants may be limited or incur additional costs.
  • If a retreat is canceled due to circumstances (e.g., force majeure, natural disaster, pandemic), an alternative date or refund will be offered in consultation.

4. Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants are responsible for a valid passport, visa, and any required vaccinations.
  • Participants declare that they are in sufficient health to join the program. Any special requirements or medical conditions must be communicated in advance.

5. Travel and Cancellation Insurance

  • Participation is only possible with a valid travel and cancellation insurance that covers medical costs, accidents, and cancellation.

6. Liability

  • She Who Wanders is not liable for personal injury, loss, or theft of personal belongings.
  • Participants follow the instructions of guides and instructors at their own responsibility.

7. Group Size

  • Retreats proceed with a minimum number of participants. If participation is insufficient, an alternative date or refund will be offered.
  • Maximum 10 participants per retreat to ensure personal guidance and attention.

8. Photo and Video Material

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.
  • If you object, you can notify us in writing beforehand.

1. Do I need experience in yoga or Ayurveda?
No, the program is suitable for both beginners and advanced participants. Everything is adapted to your level and needs.

2. How intensive is the program?
The days are well-balanced. There are set times for yoga, treatments, and meals, but there is also plenty of free time to rest or explore.

3. What language is the retreat in?
Most sessions are in English. Basic knowledge is enough — instructors speak clearly and at a calm pace.

4. What treatments will I receive?
You will have a daily Ayurvedic treatment, such as a massage, steam bath, or herbal therapy. The specific treatments depend on the advice of the Ayurvedic doctor upon arrival.

5. Can my injuries or health issues be accommodated?
Yes, definitely. Please inform us in advance so that yoga and treatments can be adapted.

6. What is included in the price?
The price includes accommodation, three vegetarian meals per day, yoga and breathing sessions, Ayurvedic treatments, workshops, and some excursions.
Flights, airport transfers, and optional activities are not included.

7. How do I get to the retreat?
The nearest international airport is Delhi (about 5 hours by car).
From there, you can book a transfer or take a domestic flight to Dehradun (1 hour from the resort).

8. Do I need a visa for India?
Yes, travelers from the Netherlands and Belgium need a tourist visa. This can be easily applied for online via the official Indian government website.

9. Is the food spicy?
No. Meals are mild, healthy, and vegetarian, prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. Allergies and dietary preferences are taken into account.

10. Can I have a private room?
Yes, you can have a private room with a bathroom. There are also rooms with garden or mountain views, depending on availability.

11. What should I bring?
Light, breathable clothing, comfortable shoes, swimwear, a water bottle, and optionally your own yoga mat. Shampoo, towels, and bedding are provided.

12. What can I expect after the retreat?
Most participants feel more energetic, lighter, and better balanced after a week. Sleep, digestion, and concentration often improve noticeably as well.
